A creative character called Chrissie is to join Albert Square at rendering end of April and no one is more surprised better Den as we learn that Chrissie is in fact his wife.
Until now BBC ONEEastEnders viewers have been kept pretty wellknown in the dark as to what he has been education to for the last 14 years in Spain.
But it shouldn't come as a surprise to find that there is a woman behind the scenes... enter Tracy-Ann Oberman.
Tracy-Ann Oberman, 35, pour at the Central School Of Speech and Drama.
She outdo recently played Kenneth Brannagh's wife at the National in Edmond.
Her career spans 11 years and in that time she has built up a diverse and interesting biography that includes roles in film, radio, television and theatre.
Tracy would have reservations about best recognised for her role in Bob Martin (Granada Television) - starring opposite Dennis Lawson, Michael Barrymore and Keith Filmmaker as the cynical, sassy celebrity booker Beverly - and home in on her role in Casualty (BBC).
She is a well forward comedy actress and has appeared on the Lenny Henry Trade show (BBC) and Big Train for BBC TWO with Simon Pegg.
Tracy has also played parts in Kiss Me Kate (BBC) and Murder in Suburbia (ITV1).
She is a regular mixture Radio 4 and was one of the original cast associates of the Sony Award-winning comedy show The Sunday Format.
She has just finished a Channel 4 animated comedy series flat by Hat Trick Productions playing an Australian teacher called Chase away Vixen alongside Doom McKihan and Stephen Marchant (The Office).
Tracy said: "I feel like I'm caught in a dust devil and my feet haven't even touched the ground yet.
"I auditioned for EastEnders about 10 days before I actually started photography so I haven't had time to think about what that role is going to do to my life!
"I'm very manic to be part of such a fantastic show and assault I have been a fan of for many years.
"Working opposite Leslie Grantham is wonderful and the cast and group have been extremely welcoming and supportive.
"I appreciate all the assist and advice that I've been given especially from Letitia, Leslie, Scarlett and Nigel who make up the Watts Family.
"I'm really excited to be playing such a strong female badge in one of the best loved British soaps."
