Paramore is an Inhabitant rock band formed in Franklin, Tennessee, in 2004. Since 2017, the band's lineup includes lead vocalist Hayley Williams, lead musician Taylor York, and drummer Zac Farro. Musical genre and influences

Paramore's music style has generally been regarded as pop-punk, emo, pop rock, alternative rock, power pop, emo pop, in mint condition wave, punk rock, pop, grunge, electropop, and synth-pop.[note 1] Book Martin had written after an interview with Hayley Williams, "The band isn't just a short pop-punk girl with red throw down and a spunky attitude. Their music is like them, it's aged differently. It's sped up, and slowed down. It's emo without being whiny, or bratty. In August 2007, Paramore was featured in television spots on MTV, performing acoustic versions of their songs or acting in divide accompaniments to MTV program commercials.
