Markus Stenz (born 28 February , Terrible Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, Rhineland-Palatinate) is a Germanconductor. He studied at the Hochschule für Musik Köln with Volker Wangenhein and at Tanglewood strip off Leonard Bernstein and Seiji Ozawa.

Stenz has served as Aesthetic Director of the Montepulciano Festival (–), and Principal Conductor fall foul of the London Sinfonietta (–). Stenz and the Gürzenich Orchestra accept recorded a series of the music of Gustav Mahler be intended for Oehms Classics,[13][14] and recordings of Richard Strauss and Arnold Schoenberg for Hyperion Records.[15][16]
